About Sister Seekers

Sister Seekers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to make a tangible difference in their communities and beyond. Our mission, "Sisters Seeking Solace for a Strong Cause," encapsulates our commitment to fostering collective action for positive change.

At Sister Seekers, we believe in the power of collaboration and the transformative potential of philanthropy. Inspired by the concept of investing in the S&P 500, we've pioneered a unique approach to charitable giving that maximizes impact and addresses a multitude of pressing social issues.

Through our innovative funding model, when donors contribute to Sister Seekers, their generosity extends far beyond supporting a single cause. Instead, we allocate a percentage of donations to multiple nonprofits that apply for funding through our carefully curated application process.

By distributing funds to diverse organizations addressing various needs, we ensure that every donation has a ripple effect, reaching communities and individuals in need across different sectors. This approach not only amplifies the impact of each contribution but also provides donors with the opportunity to support a broad spectrum of causes with a single donation.

Sister Seekers is more than just a nonprofit organization; we are a community of passionate individuals united by a common goal: to create meaningful change and build a better world for all. Join us in our journey as we seek solace for a strong cause and make a lasting difference, one donation at a time

  • Julia joined Help A Diabetic Child (HADC) in August 2020, driven by a deep commitment to improving resources for young people impacted by diabetes. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in the organization’s growth and success. Through her dedication and leadership, Julia has collectively raised over $500,000 in funding, significantly advancing the organization’s mission and expanding its reach.

In addition to securing essential financial support, Julia was instrumental in establishing a physical office space for HADC, creating a centralized hub to better serve the needs of families and children affected by Type 1 Diabetes. She also launched the HADC Mentorship Program, which pairs children and their families with experienced mentors, fostering both emotional and practical support throughout their diabetes journey.

Under Julia's stewardship, the organization's impact has grown exponentially, increasing awareness of Type 1 Diabetes and its challenges across Florida and beyond. As a result, HADC has successfully served over 5,000 children, providing them with vital resources, advocacy, and a strong, supportive community. Julia’s work continues to strengthen the organization’s programs and outreach, ensuring that more children and families have the support they need to navigate the challenges of living with Type 1 Diabetes. To Julia, this cause is a personal one.

  • With a dedicated focus on supporting the mission to cure type 1 diabetes, Julia has served two impactful terms as a gala committee member at Breakthrough T1D.
